The DeWalt DW734 utilizes a very powerful 15 Amp, 10,000 rpm motor, that is mainly

designed to handle larger, deeper cuts in hardwoods. (Naturally, softwoods are

welcome too). The three knife cutter head provides 96 cuts per inch, which makes it

one of the finest finishes of any portable planer.
